“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self!” I saw this quote somewhere and have no clue whom to attribute it to, but it is a beautiful definition of yoga. For me, yoga has truly molded my life into a more disciplined, aligned, and happy journey that I enjoy sharing with others.” ~ Vox Angelus
I have practiced yoga for many years and after a time, decided that I wished to deepen my practice by going through a training program to become a teacher. It took a bit of time to figure out what I wanted to teach and how I wanted to teach it, because I believe that the best teachers share what they truly know, believe in, and practice from the heart. I teach yoga classes that integrate my training and certification based in Ashtanga, and other forms of yoga, pranayama (breath work), and meditation practices.
I love to move the entire body and flow with the breath! I focus more on postures and movements that are natural and progressive, because movement heals. My classes increase flexibility, range of motion, destress and release tension and restriction in the body and mind, and leave you feeling both relaxed and invigorated!
I look forward to seeing you in class!
